Biography:

Stephen Freeland was born in Rayville, Louisiana. At age 12 he moved with his family to Mt. Vernon, Missouri, where he grew up working on a farm. In 2004, Stephen left for Greenville, South Carolina, to attend Bob Jones University. While in undergrad, he participated in numerous extracurricular activities such as student government, intramural sports, debate, and intercollegate Mock Trial. With law school clearly in his sights, Stephen graduated summa cum laude in 2008 with a B.A. in Prelaw. He then returned to the Midwest to attend Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas. He graduated magna cum laude from Washburn in 2011. He then came home to southwest Missouri to be near the people and places that he loves so much. Stephen enjoys spending free time in the outdoors hunting, fishing, camping, and canoeing. He is also an avid football fan.

In law school, Stephen spent a summer working for the U.S. Army JAG Corps at Fort Knox in Kentucky. He also worked as a law clerk for a civil defense law firm in Kansas City, Kansas. Additionally, Stephen worked for two federal judges in the U.S. District Court of Kansas. After taking Missouri's bar exam in July 2011, Stephen began working for the Law Offices of Gary Green in Springfield, Missouri. He focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, social security disability, and workers' compensation. Stephen strives to skillfully advocate for his clients to provide them with the best representation possible.
